We are pleased to announce on the appointments of Mr. Thesan Thiyagu as our new Senior Vice-President and Mr. Punanesvaran as our new Manager in Mestari’s Motor Liability Department based in our Kuala Lumpur office.
Mr Thesan Thiyagu as the Senior Vice President, Motor Liability Division Thesan, has his wide experience of 15 years in his careers on management with insurance claims departments and loss adjusting firm. Thesan Thiyagu is a law graduate from University of London, England. He started his insurance career in claims handling Bodily Injury, Theft, Third Party Property Damage and Own Damage Investigations and had also headed the Own Damage Department in claims department. Together with his tenure of 7 years with a loss adjusting firm, Thesan brings with him his wealth of experience in all aspects motor claim investigations of service to our clients.
Mr Punanesvaran @ Puna as Manager, Motor Liability Division Puna started from IT background and worked in relevant field for few years before commencing his career in loss adjusting and investigations from 1996 onwards. Puna has extensive knowledge and wealth of his 18 years of experience in dealing with bodily injury, own damage investigation and theft claims. He brings with him his track record of service on investigations of motor claims.

We are pleased to announce the re-appointment of Zainal Azeem, Practical Dip. Mechanical Engineering, as our Marine Manager based in Kuala Lumpur.
Zainal has worked for both loss adjusting firms and P&L Clubs for the past 13 years, handling varied spectrum of claims, both complex and major losses and undertakes surveys and investigation upon all forms of dry and wet cargo, and containers/equipment/machinery. He brings a wealth of experience to his role and will benefit our current clients.
